Shift Analytical Chemist
Location – TS13
Following training, working 12 hours shifts (days and nights) on a 4 on / 4 off rota.
Based on a salary around £37k (which includes shift allowance once training has been completed).
Initially for 3 months with a proposed start date around 17th September for the right person.
Analysis of mineral samples using a range of wet chemistry and instrumental techniques.
Knowledge of GLP / UKAS accreditation, working to QA / QC procedures.
Sample preparation, analysis of results and interpretation of data.
Calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
Involvement with research projects and process / method development where appropriate.
