Service Quality Engineer Manager in Surrey

Purpose:

To manage the ISO/IEC 17025:2005(E) quality system used within our UKAS Laboratory.

Key Responsibilities:

To ensure that all work carried out within the UKAS Laboratory is at the highest quality and that all staff within the laboratory are following the quality and technical procedures.

To implement quality related documents within the local organisation, these include local and global quality documents where applicable to the local business.

To liaise with service customers who have quality related enquiries.

Be responsible for the security and maintenance of test equipment used within the service department.

Carry out quality and technical audits where required and to put in place both corrective and preventative actions as a result of the audits.

To manage all service accreditations (for example UKAS, NAWI, Safe contractor).

To be able to develop quality processes as a part of continued improvement and or in relation to extending the scope of accreditation.

To attend local and Global quality related meetings.

Experience:

Experience in an Engineering/Technical background with Field Service experience is preferable. ISO knowledge, in particular ISO17025 and ISO8655 plus ISO9001 and ISO13485 would be very useful, plus a working knowledge of UKAS.

UK driving licence (3-4 days a month out at client companies)
