£380 to £480 Umbrella.  Deemed inside IR35

Contracts Available until end of March 2020

Must be a UK National for this role.


We are looking an experienced analyst with a good technical working knowledge of improvised explosive devices, is required to take a leading role in conducting fusion analysis, producing clear and concise intelligence products to meet customers’ requirements. This will involve assimilation and interpretation of information from a wide range of sources, developing novel approaches and innovative analysis techniques, taking the lead in building and maintaining relationships with customers, partners and stakeholders across the Lab, the MoD and other relevant agencies including a leading role in working closely with international partners.


Current knowledge and recent experience of military systems, the operational situation, improvised threat devices and Intelligence data, information and sources.

A clear technical understanding of the characteristics of improvised explosive devices and the analytical ability to research and identify trends and linkages using a variety of tools and techniques (for example network, geospacial and temporal analysis)

Recent experience of analysis for Defence MPE

Self-motivated and able to work under own initiative with the ability to manage own work - able to plan, design, carry out and report on individual tasks within an overall analytical programme.

Knowledge of analytical tools and techniques, including the use of i2 analysts notebook and ARCGIS

Good information management skills and IT skills including the use of key Microsoft products, Excel, Access and Sharepoint

£380 - £480 Umbrella Inside IR35
