R&D Product Development Physicist in Hampshire

Duties will include:

Testing, characterisation and modelling of current product range, focussed around optical components, LEDs and Laser diodes.

Developing new concepts and technologies

Moving LED illumination systems, optical component and laser diode concepts into design and prototyping.

Liaise and provide support to all areas of the business

Handover and design of new product introduction

Assist with prototype assembly

Candidate:

Degree or higher degree in physics and experience working with optical systems or components.

Experience in working with optical components, LEDs and laser diodes.

A willingness to be flexible and positive in covering all aspects of the Product Development role.

Ability to manage projects and report on progress

Good at problem solving and logically thinking

Numerate and computer literate
