Electronics Engineer in Northamptonshire

Our client  is a small and rapidly growing technology business which manufactures highly bespoke, custom and low volume specialist equipment.

We have a great opportunity for a talented and flexible systems engineer to join our growing team. The suitable candidate will have a strong electronics and embedded systems background and would be responsible for the design, development, system integration and test of specialised camera systems for science experiments and space applications.

The successful applicant will be able to work accurately and quickly, and be willing and able to work on several projects simultaneously under pressure and to tight deadlines.

Whilst we’re primarily looking for someone with strong skills in electronics design and test, as a small business, we appreciate employees who have, or who are willing to acquire skills in other related areas which help the business (eg software and project management).

As over 90% of our systems are exports to Europe, the US and Asia, the successful candidate must be prepared to travel overseas for short periods for commissioning systems at the customers’ sites.

Qualifications:

First or upper second class degree in Electronic Engineering or Physics.

3-5 Years experience in digital and analogue design.
