Data Administrator in Middlesbrough

This is a temporary role for 3 months.

This is a new role which has been created to support the Company’s new Insight team within the Commercial function of the company. 

As the Data Input coordinator, you will assist in maintaining the company’s CRM system to ensure that data can be retrieved quickly and reports produced in an efficient manner in order to assist the commercial and technical teams. 


Duties of the role include:

  • Managing the administration and data of the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database, including segmentation of data, data cleansing, duplicate records and pipeline data, liaising with other functions to ensure accuracy
  • Ensuring the integrity of data pertaining to clients, suppliers and contacts to provide reliable and up to date lists for Marketing campaigns, proactive Business Development and Performance Impact measurement
  • Assisting in maintaining a fit for purpose CRM system that complies with current legislation
  • Using online research tools to aid with updating contact records
  • Providing ad-hoc administrative and research support to the Insight team


The Right Candidate

Candidates must be educated to GCSE level or equivalent in preferably a Business or Scientific discipline and have some knowledge of, and the ability to apply, a mixture of analytical and commercial thinking. 


Applicants must possess the following skills and competencies:

  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail, with the ability to use initiative in order to logically connect information
  • Ability to build effective two-way communication channels within the business and across departments
  • Understands the value of establishing effective and supportive relationships, and collaborative working
  • Strong analytical skills with demonstrable experience of using a range of IT packages.  Candidates must also be willing to promote the benefits of the systems in use and translate own knowledge effectively to support and guide others
  • Previous use of a customer relationship management system would be desirable
